Which water park should we (two adults & one child) visit? We are not very adventurous when it comes to water. Also, my daughter is 10 years old (that weird age where some rides are too scary but the kiddie rides are too boring).

    Hi Elisa,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

While I usually recommend Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park for preschoolers and people who are water slide thrill seekers, from your description of your family, I would highly recommend a visit to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park for your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort.

First, the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool really is impressive and makes you feel like you’re enjoying a day at the beach as you dig your toes in the sand that surrounds the pool. Plus, my favourite lazy river in all of Walt Disney World Resort is unquestionably Castaway Creek. The water level is low enough that everyone, including people who aren’t particularly strong swimmers can enjoy themselves. Finally, the Crush 'n' Gusher water coaster is thrilling, but shouldn’t be too scary for your little one because you’re riding on a raft the whole time (and shouldn't get thrown into the water).

I hope my answer helps you plan your upcoming visit. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
