Which water park is best for 3 to 6 year olds?

Picking a water park to visit at Walt Disney World, unlike most choices in life, always has great results. Your kids will love and enjoy either Disney's Blizzard Beach or Disney's Typhoon Lagoon.

Disney's Blizzard Beach has Tike's Peak, a preschool play area as well as the Ski Patrol Training Camp for younger school age children. The park, themed around a freak Florida snow storm that resulted in a ski resort that is slowing melting in the sun, has several family friendly attractions such a slow moving river for raft riding and my personal favorite Teamboat Springs. Melt-Away Bay is one acre wave pool for swimming and splashing.

Disney's Typhoon Lagoon has an awesome Surf Pool with periodic six foot waves crashing through. Ketchakiddie Creek is a water play area for little ones with fountains, a beach, a mini rapids ride and more.
Family friendly rides  include Castaway Creek and Gang Plank Falls. Shark Reef offers the opportunity to swim with sharks, stingrays and tropical fish or at least view the creatures through portholes.

Either water park will provide your family with a great day of splashing and swimming excitement. Enjoy!
