After watching a Disney guide video I hope we have not made a mistake booking Animal Kingdom. They say it’s a long way from all parks? Is the transportation from there good?

Howdy Steve!  Thank you for sharing your question with the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge transports you to another continent!  A place where giraffes and zebras run freely and beautiful birds can be found around every corner.  Make sure to stop and watch the flamingos!  They are great entertainment!

I thoroughly loved every moment at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge!  This resort is located in a great place where you can enjoy the animals running free but it is still close enough to the parks.  We were able to take the bus transportation to all 4 parks.  The transportation seemed to go quickly.  I also enjoyed the immersive feeling at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and then leaving and experiencing Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and the Magic Kingdom ParkDisney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park is closer in proximity to the resort hotel.  I think you will definitely enjoy this experience.

May is a beautiful time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort!  My favorite festival will be in full bloom!  The Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival is so much fun for all ages.  The beautiful topiary displays are the perfect backdrop for a fun whimsical photo!  The Outdoor Kitchens will be serving up some scrumptious food for all to enjoy!  Also, you will want to visit the Garden Rocks Concert Series!  This is where you can tap your feet to some throwback beats!  This festival is a definite must-do for our family.

Your vacation will be here before you know it!  To stay up-to-date on everything for 2020, check out the Disney Parks Blog.  Also, if you have any more questions, please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
