If you were going to watch the star wars hoopla and wanted to get something to eat (QS) and take it to sit and wait til the hoopla started, where would you get the food and where would you go to sit? Figure sitting on a towel where the hoopla will be. TY

Hi there Debra! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!  I am a huge fan of Star Wars Weekends and have visited several times myself in the past! It's funny you should ask this question, because my family ate our quick-service meals while waiting for Hyperspace Hoopla to begin last year. I would highly recommend visiting the various quick-service restaurants on Sunset Boulevard near The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. Several quick-service locations are situated adjacent to each other which increases your menu possibilities. We actually had three family members order turkey legs at Toluca Legs Turkey Co., two children ordered chicken nuggets at Rosie's All-American Cafe, and one ordered pizza from Catalina Eddie's. Although there are a few tables and benches in the vicinity of the Star Wars Weekends Event Stage (Sorcerer Hat Stage in 2012), we found that we needed to go ahead and sit on the ground in front of the stage in order to secure a spot for optimal viewing. I also wanted to mention that many people started gathering near the stage an hour prior to the start of Hyperspace Hoopla. Bringing a towel to sit on is an excellent idea. With that being said, guests started standing approximately 15-30 minutes prior to showtime. I hope this information helps! Please don't hesitate to write me back with any additional question regarding Star Wars Weekends or your Walt Disney World vacation! Best wishes for a magical trip as you are transported to a galaxy far, far away, Debra!
