Wanting a villa type room with 2 bedrooms, travelling with 2 kids 4 & 2 yrs, so easy transportation is a must. Is the Contemp. villas too "adult" or kid friendly? Would you rec. another villa type resort stay at a different resort for this ag

    Hi Sara,

My family loves the Contemporary.  During my daughter's first WDW vacation we stayed at the Contemporary and she was only 20 months old.  The resort is the only one that has walking access to the Magic Kingdom as well as monorail access to both the Magic Kingdom and Epcot.  The counter service restaurant is very kid friendly.  My daughter loved coloring disney pages every morning during her trip there when she was four.  On our last night her picture was chosen as the artist of the day.  She was thrilled.  The most kid friendly restaurant is of course Chef Mickey's, but my daughter also enjoys The Wave.

I have stayed at many of the villas at WDW and I would say that the Contemporary is the best for young kids.

    Enjoy your trip
