I am wanting to have a Pirate day full of adventures for my son who will be 9 when we get there. I have noticed so many pirate activities and shows can anyone suggest where to start then flow to the next, trying to include as much as possible.

Aarh Matey! Yer pirate will love a day full of adventure at Walt Disney World!

Before you arrive, consider booking a pirate room at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. These rooms are elaborately themed and the beds even look like pirate ships. My son loved this room when we stayed here. You can also call Disney Floral and Gifts before your visit and arrange for the Me Pirate In Room Experience. When you get back from the parks, your room will be transformed with a door banner, note from Captain Jack and treasure chest.

Start your day at Magic Kingdom and ride Pirates of the Caribbean. Afterwards give your little guy a pirate makeover at The Pirates League. He can get an official pirate name, makeover and pirate accessories. He can take part in the pirate parade after his makeover.

In Adventureland you can also catch the show given by Captain Jack on how to be a pirate.

Take a break from the parks and head over to Stormalong Bay at Disney's Yacht and Beach Club. They have a giant shipwreck that serves as the entrance to two waterslides. If you are staying at a Walt disney World Resort, you can enjoy the pool at any of the resorts! Caribbean Beach also has a great pirate themed pool.

You won't want to miss the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage which sets sail on the Seven Seas Lagoon. You will enjoy yummy snacks before boarding a boat with other aspiring pirates and singing pirate songs along the way. You'll enjoy a beautiful showing of Wishes from the water.

Also consider seeing Jake and the Neverland Pirates at Hollywood Studios and the pirate-themed attraction in Disney Quest.

    Magically,
    Stacy
