I was wanting to know if the resorts still offer gift cards for skipping Mousekeeping ? It really helped last year. Thank you for all your help.

    Hi Pamela!

Welcome BACK to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We absolutely love talking all-things Disney related with our favorite friends year after year.

In 2017 a few Walt Disney World Resort Hotels partook in a pilot program where they offered Disney eGift Cards in exchange for guests declining to have their rooms serviced daily by Mousekeeping. Guests who said yes to this offer were able to request new towels and bath amenities during their stay, however light cleaning and bed making was up to the guest. A few resorts a time tested this program, and then after a few months the participating hotels would switch so eventually all 25+ Disney Resort Hotels could get a feel for the idea. The reward for the participation was that each room would receive a Disney gift card for each night of their Disney Resort Hotel reservation, minus one. (The minus one night is because everything gets cleaned upon checkout after your last night. So a five night, six day stay would equal the amount of four individual gift cards.)

At this time, Disney Resort Hotels are still participating in this trial run. While we don't know how long the trial will last or if it will become a permanent addition, the wonderful Resort Reservations Cast Members might know a bit more about which Resort Hotels are participating during your vacation dates. They may be reached at (407) 939-1936 between 7:00 A.M. and 11:00 P.M. EST daily. Should you find out which Resort Hotels are participating, I've heard that some guests are targeted with the offer ahead of their stay while some are asked if they'd like to opt in at check-in. And if you are not asked prior to walking into your guest room, it never hurts to ask a Front Desk Cast Member if you can participate during check-in.

I hope this helped, Pamela, and We'll See You Real Soon!
