    Hi there Melissa!

Thank you for your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Disney vacations are magical vacations wherever the destination may be. Being a mama of an obsessed 4 year old boy with Disney's Cars & Buzz Lightyear too, I think your family would have quite the adventure at the Disneyland Resort.

With Cars Land over at Disney's California Adventure Park, your family will feel like you just stepped into the town of Radiator Springs. You'll have the opportunity for Meet 'N' Greets with life-size characters from the 2006 animated movie Cars. Our son loved the crown-jewel of Cars Land, the Radiator Springs Racers attraction. I recommend getting a FastPass for this as early as possible. We spent a lot of time just soaking in all the sights and sounds that Cars Land had to offer.

Toy Story Midway Mania is a fun & interactive attraction for Guests of all ages that features characters from Disney/Pixar's Toy Story. Buzz Lightyear will instruct him to toss rings on the heads of the little 3-eyed green aliens during the Buzz Lightyear's Flying Tossers portion of the attraction.

Over at Disneyland Park, there is also another Buzz Lightyear attraction that is interactive. Your space ranger will love firing lasers to fight the evil Zurg on Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters attraction.

The Disneyland Resort has a lot of options for your son to run, jump, explore, and play in. There's Goofy's Playhouse and the Pirate's Lair on Tom Sawyer Island in Disneyland Park, and over in Disney's California Adventure Park head over to the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail and have your explorer earn badges. If it's warmer weather out, you can venture over to Princess Dot Puddle Park but be prepared for your little one to get a little wet there.

I hope this was helpful. If you have any more questions, please write me back here on the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    Wishing you magic!
