Hi, I have a 5 yo and wanted to take her to the boutique and to a princess dining experience. Can you recommend which is better the storybook breakfast or the princess tea party. Im hoping to book her a very early slot at the BBB at the castle then go.

There are several different Princess experiences that your daughter might enjoy!

The Princess Storybook Breakfast is actually in Epcot, in the Norway section of World Showcase. The restaurant there is called Akershus, and it happens to be my three daughters' favorite place to see the princesses (and mine as well!) Their breakfast food is excellent, and we've always found them to have good service and great character interaction. This location is not at all near the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in the castle. You would need to have park hopper tickets, and then ride the monorail to Epcot after your daughter has finished her makeover. It's a fun monorail ride, though, and she may enjoy the opportunity to show off her new look in more than one park!

The My Disney Girl's Perfectly Princess Tea Party is held in the Grand Floridian resort, a short monorail ride away from the Magic Kingdom. It, too, is a great experience, though one that is very different from a character meal. Rose Petal will sing songs and tells stories to the young guests and their dolls, and lead them in a princess parade. Later, the girls are treated to an upscale tea party and a visit from Princess Aurora, as well as the doll and other special gifts. This party does carry a hefty price tag, however - significantly more expensive than a character meal. (Currently $250 for one and adult and one child)

Another option might be dining right in the castle. Just across from the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is Cinderella's Royal Table restaurant, where you and your daughter could have pictures taken with Cinderella and meet several of her other princess friends. Breakfast reservations here are often hard to get, but lunch offers great food and an easier booking window. And it's just plain cool to eat in the castle!

    Hope that helps!
