I wanted to take my 8 yr old neice to Cinderellas Castle for dinner as a special time for the two of us, but it is closed when we will be there. Can you suggest something else that would be memorable time for us?

    Robert,

I understand that all the hype for the Cinderella Castle experience can make it seem like the only place for that iconic Princess greeting experience. But believe me when I say, it is not.

I have recommended to many friends, with great results, that they swap out Cinderella Castle with the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall experience. For a lower cost you get an equally castle-like atmosphere, the same number of princesses, sometimes with more variety, and comparable quality food. Sure, you are not in THE castle. But you are in A castle. My girls have actually found that the public space activities, like the march around the dining room, make it even more interactive.

I think that will work for you!

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
