    Lora from PA Asked

I wanted to do one last thing before we depart after breakfast (possibly a surprise). We're a group of 3 adults & a 5-year old. Any suggestions?

Hi Lora! Departure day is always a hectic day but there are still things you can enjoy that wouldn't take a lot of time or preparation. Downtown Disney is often a destination for those traveling home.  You can walk and shop and there are a few cute small rides that a five year old would enjoy such as a train and carrousel. Try for lunch at either the Rainforest Cafe or T-Rex as both have the audio animatronic actions you can watch while you eat.  If you have a large chunk of time head to Disney Quest which is a multi story building with interactive games and activities. Also, check out the movie schedule and possibly take in a Fork and Screen movie where you can dine and watch at the same time.

Another idea is to head to Fort Wilderness and enjoy this area. You can have the five year old do a pony ride, visit the stables, and all can rent a canoe for an hour or so and see the back end of this resort.

Even taking a long monorail ride to Epcot and back is fun for everyone and a great way to say good bye to the parks and Disney. Lots to think about but hard to want to do that "last" magical thing!
