I wanted to know whether we can use disney transportation from epcot to magic kingdom and animal kingdom. We are not staying in a disney hotel and we are only planning to visit AK and MK. Our hotel provides free transportation to epcot.

Welcome to the Moms Panel Base!  We're super excited to have you hEAR!

I love that you are planning ahead. It makes the trip go so much more smoothly once you arrive. You are more than welcome to use Disney Transportation even if you are not staying at a Disney World Resort.

To get to the Magic Kingdom from Epcot, hop aboard the Disney monorail for a relaxing ride to the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) at the Magic Kingdom Parking lot.  Its a direct route and this will be the only stop before it heads back to Epcot.

From TTC, you have the option of taking another monorail to the Magic Kingdom or the Ferry Boat.  There are two monorails at TTC that make stops at the Magic Kingdom - the Resort Monorail which will make a stop at the Polynesian Resort and Grand Floridian before stopping at the Magic Kingdom entrance and the Express Monorail that will take you directly to the Magic Kingdom.

You can take a bus from Epcot to Disney's Animal Kingdom.  It will take you around 45 minutes so make sure you allow yourself time if you have a dining reservation.

There are a few unofficial Disney sites that I've seen provide directions & travel time between Disney properties. One that I've found to be very helpful is www.ourlaughingplace.com.  Once you reach their site, click on Transportation Wizard in the top right corner of their homepage. From there it will give you a drop down menu of where you're traveling from and your destination.

Please feel free to visit us with any other questions.  Its a pleasure to assist you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
