    Susan from RI Asked

Hi, I wanted to know if I need to bring my car seat for my 7 month old if I'm using the Magic Express shuttle and staying on Disney grounds the whole time we're in Disney. Can I just hold her on the shuttles and buses?

Welcome to the Mom's Panel, Susan!  According to the official Disney's Magical Express webpage, car seats must be stowed underneath the motor coach. Children can sit in an adult's lap or occupy their own seat. Follow the link I provided to view the Disney's Magical Express Frequently Asked Questions page. You will not need a car seat for traveling on the monorail, ferry boats, or Disney bus transportation while staying on property. We have always held our infants and toddlers when traveling on the Disney transportation.  If you are planning to stay on property for the duration of your trip, I don't see why you would need a car seat for your seven-month-old. I know from personal experience that it can seem really strange to not need a car seat, but I actually enjoyed being able to just hold my "little one" in my lap on the bus.  I hope this information helps!  Please feel free to write us back with any additional questions that you may have. Best wishes for a Magical Trip, Susan!
    Happy Planning,
