I wanted to know if its better to purchase park tickets when we get there at our resort and hope for discounts or before we get there and if we have dinner reservations in a park do we have to have disney tickets for that park or is there an outside ent.

It is much more cost-effective to pre-purchase your WDW park tickets.

If you are looking for a cost-saving option, I can personally recommend www.undercovertourist.com as I have purchased tickets from them twice. If you or a family member belongs to the AAA Automobile Club, price out tickets there as well.

If you have a reservation to dine within one of the theme parks, you will need park admission to enter. The only exception that I can think of is the Rainforest Cafe at the Animal Kingdom which does have a separate entrance prior to the park's entrance. Otherwise, any time that you enter a park's turnstile whether it is to tour the park, dine or watch a show, you will need admission.

    Happy planning!
