i was wandering if we have reservations for breakfast at a park @ 9 would it be better for us to drive our car to get there on time or take the bus? we are staying at All-Star Sports and I have heard the lines get long for the buses there.

    Hi Tina,

We always use Disney transportation to get to the parks, even when we have an early character breakfast.  The buses start running approximately an hour before the parks open, so you should have no problem catching a bus to get to your destination on time. To be safe, I would leave your resort about an hour before your reservation.  Disney is aware of the fact that many guests have early morning character breakfast reservations, and works hard to ensure everyone gets to their desired location on time and ready to eat!

If you feel that driving would be more convenient, you can certainly do so.  Guests staying on property can park for free in any of the theme parks.  When you check into your resort, be sure to mention that you have a car, and you'll receive a paper to put on your dash board that identifies you as a guest staying on site.  When you enter any of the parking lots, the Cast Member staffing the "toll booths" will see the paper and wave you through.  If you chose to drive, depending upon what park your breakfast is, I would allow 45 minutes to an hour to drive, park and make it to your destination on time.

    Have a fabulous trip!
