Hi Theresa! Like you, I love trying to find ways to make my Disney vacations more affordable. First, I recommend you visit the Special Offers page on the Disney website where you'll usually find discounted resort rooms and vacation packages. Make sure you register your mailing address and email address on the Disney site, and price out some vacation packages online or by calling 407-WDISNEY. Sometimes if Disney knows you're thinking about visiting, you'll receive a special discount code in your email or mailbox for a reduced room rate or free dining with a vacation package.

The unofficial website www.mousesavers.com is another great source of information for saving money on your Disney trip.  Since you're looking for flights too, price out packages on airline or travel sites. Sometimes you can save by buying a Disney package from the airline, but you'll need to price the components separately to see if you're getting a deal. Make sure you register for the special deal emails from the airlines and sites like Travelocity will send you an email when flights to Orlando from your city drop to a certain price.

For lodging, check out the value resorts. They're not luxurious, but have fun themes, are usually less than $100 per night, and like all Disney resorts, give you perks such as extra hours in the parks and the free Magical Express airport shuttle service. For park tickets, compare the cost of the ones on the Disney website with those of independent ticket retailers like undercovertourist.com. You can reduce your ticket cost by omitting the Park Hopper option and just visiting one theme park per day.

Come visit me again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! I'd love to help you plan your July trip!
