We are going to Walt Disney on December 18th til 29 (2 adults & 8 yr old girl) from Mexico. What do you recommend as a plan?... We know that is the most crowded season (we have tickets for xmas parade). Thxs for the advice.

    Hi there Daniel,

Even though you are traveling during the busy Holiday season, there is no reason why you can't have a magical vacation with your family!  I have visited during the holidays several times and have always had a blast!

There are a few tips and tricks that I am more than happy to share with you and I think they will really help you maximize your time in the parks!

-Arrive as early as you can each morning, before rope drop if possible.

-If you are a Walt Disney World Resort hotel guest, be sure to take advantage of extra magic hours each day which will either allow you to enter a park an hour early or stay up to 3 hours after regular park closing.

-Be sure to familiarize yourself with the parks and decide ahead of time which attractions you definitely want to experience.  Be sure to hit those first!

-Use Disney's Fast Pass service whenever possible to minimize your time waiting in line on select attractions.

-Book dining reservations ahead of time ONLINE or by calling (407)WDW-DINE.

-Bring a small bag or cooler inside with drinks and snacks to avoid having to wait in lines.

-On the day of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, you can enter the park as early as 4 PM even though the party doesn't officially begin until 7.

-Avoid the Magic Kingdom on Christmas Day, as it will be extremely busy.

-Be sure to take time for breaks

Hope these tips help, and please be sure to write back with any last minute questions!
