What is the walking path from Paradise Pier to the parks? I've looked at the map and it isn't really clear. I've stayed at the Disneyland Hotel, is it similar? Is PP farther, do you walk past the Disneyland Hotel? TY

Hi there, Mindy! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I have journeyed from Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel to the parks several times, so I am happy to guide you from point A to point B. If you have stayed at the Disneyland Hotel, then the path will be very similar from Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel which is just a bit further away. When you leave Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel, go through the back exit and turn right. You will discover a walking path that leads you toward the Disneyland Hotel and the Downtown Disney District. You will pass by the Disneyland Hotel on your left as you make your way to the area in between the large Sorcerer's Hat and ESPN Zone. Here is where you will now go through the security checkpoint. After that, you will continue through the Downtown Disney District to the parks just the way you did during your last stay. I would say the walk from Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel to the parks takes about 10-15 minutes if you don't get distracted by the WonderGround Gallery or Sprinkles cupcakes along the way like I do!

If you download the Disneyland app, you can use the map view to help you navigate. Once you are in the parks, it will even show your exact location on the map to help you get around. The app is also great for looking up attraction wait times, FASTPASS return times, and so much more!

Have a magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
