Can you walk to the polynesian village or the cotemporary resort from the wilderness lodge? If so how long is the walk and are there stairs?

    Hi Cassie!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

Unfortunately, you can not walk from the Wilderness Lodge to the Polynesian or the Contemporary; you can walk to Fort Wilderness, but that's about it.

To get to those other resorts, you should take the boat that runs between the Wilderness Lodge, the Contemporary, and Fort Wilderness.  Boats run about every 20 minutes.  Then when you get to the Contemporary, you can go up to the monorail station and catch the monorail to the Polynesian.  An alternative approach is to take a boat from the Wilderness Lodge to the Magic Kingdom.  Then before you go into the theme park, go to the Magic Kingdom monorail station and catch the resort monorail to either the Contemporary or the Polynesian.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
