    Ashley from TN Asked

Is there a way to walk from Caribbean Beach Resort to Art of Animation? My son really wants to tour AoA but it seems to be an hour each way from our resort on the magic express. Could we get there faster by walking?

Hello, Ashley, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I love how you are interested in touring the Disney Resort hotels, and Disney's Art of Animation Resort will captivate both you and your son. Even though the distance between the two Resort hotels may not seem great, I would advise against walking because many roads between the two Resort hotels have restricted access.

Why not let Disney worry about those logistics and hop on your complimentary Disney Bus Transportation, head over to Disney Springs Town Center- Bus Station and transfer to the bus for Disney's Art of Animation Resort. You may even wish to experience the new entertainment, shopping and dining at the redesigned Disney Springs on your way to Disney's Art of Animation Resort or return after your visit. A taxi cab would get you there and back faster if you desire.

During your tour of Disney's Art of Animation Resort head over to all the storybook landscapes from the beloved Disney-Pixar animated movies such as Finding Nemo, Cars, The Lion King and The Little Mermaid. Check out the main lobby called "Animation Hall" from the main entrance, where the sketches progress from beginning to end. Then, look up at the "Storyboard Chandelier" which is a compilation of storyboard sketches containing one signed by John Lasseter, Jodi Benson, and Pat Caroll.

Stop by the Landscape of Flavors food court for a made-to-order fruit smoothie. I love the lemonade and pomegranate limeade!

Wishing you a fun-filled day touring Disney's Art of Animation Resort, Ashley!
