Is there a waitlist for dining reservations? We are going to MK on May 1st for my son's birthday and I wanted to go to "Be Our Guest" but of course, all dinner times are taken. Help please!

    Hey Ericka!

Thanks for stopping by with this question about Advance Dining Reservations at Be Our Guest Restaurant in Magic Kingdom Park

As you have discovered, reservations at Be Our Guest Restaurant fill up quickly. There are no waiting lists for dining reservations, unfortunately. Your best bet is to check for a cancellation. But, do not fret, Ericka! You have plenty of time before your trip in May, and you have a good chance of something opening up by that time. In fact, I have been most successful in finding a cancellation a day or two before our trip. Guests tend to finalize their plans as their vacation approaches, so you just might have the best chance a few days prior to your vacation. In any case, continue to check daily for a cancellation, and I'll send pixie dust that something opens up!

As a backup, I suggest making a reservation at The Crystal Palace, where you can dine with Winnie the Pooh and friends. My three daughters love The Crystal Palace, and it's a wonderful place to celebrate a birthday! Speaking of birthdays, be sure to pick up a "Happy Birthday" button for your son when you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort.

Quick Tip: Be sure to take a look at the Customize Your Special Occasion page on the Walt Disney World Resort website where you can personalize your celebration and even order a custom cake!

I hope this helps with your planning, Ericka. Please stop back and let us know if you have any additional questions. Have a magical day!
