I was waiting to see if I'd be able to take vacation time during the Disney Wine and Dine Half in Nov. My family is signed up to run and now that I know I can join them, it's sold out. Am I completely out of luck or is there still a way to run?

    Hi Ally!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I know firsthand how disappointing it can be to go register for a race and it already be sold out, but I'm glad to let you know there is still a chance for you to tackle the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon with your family!

Aside from the general registration, runDisney also pairs up with Travel Providers and Charity Groups that will have specific bibs set aside just for them. If you visit the runDisney homepage, then click on Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend, you'll then want to visit the Registration Tab. If you scroll down you should first see a list of Run for a Cause runDisney Charity Groups Program with links to each individual charity. If you continue there should be a similar list for runDisney Travel Provider Program.

Each group will have their own requirements. For the charities it's usually a minimum fundraising requirement and for the travel providers it's usually that you book your Walt Disney World Resort hotel with them or ticket purchases, etc. You'll need to reach out to them individually to see what bibs they still have available and what their requirements are. If your family has a cause that's near and dear to them the Charity Group may be a great route because you could fundraise as a family leading up to the race!

Please let me know if you have any questions and I'll be sending pixie dust your way that you are able to register!
