    Betty from ME Asked

Can we have visitors come to our resort during our stay? Is there a charge?

Hi there, Betty! We appreciate you stopping by with your question.

We always love having our Orlando area friends visit us when we are visiting Walt Disney World. It's great to catch up either by ordering in-room dining to our resort room or grabbing a bite to eat at one of the many wonderful Walt Disney World restaurants and lounges. There are also a bunch of Disney resort activities that anyone is able to participate in, whether they are a resort guest or not. Miniature golf is one of our favorites. There is no charge for someone to come visit you at your resort, unless they use something that has a fee associated with it for everyone.

The two main things you need to know about guests visiting your resort is that parking access is generally limited to a certain number of hours - usually three - so it's generally enough time to enjoy a leisurely meal or a round of miniature golf and grab a bite to eat. The other thing is that resort pools are for the use of resort guests only.

You can check in with the front desk of your resort to just make sure there are no other restrictions for visitors during your stay. Sometimes during busy holiday seasons, there may be additional restrictions to other resort activities.

    Have a wonderful vacation, Betty.
