hi. we visitng from 16 to 24 Jan. thinking of staying half time in wilderness lodge & rest at beach resort. or should we stay at WL whole time? is it easy to travel to animal kingdom & typhoon beach etc rom WL?

    Hi Verusha,

Traveling from Disney's Wilderness Lodge to Disney's Animal Kingdom and the water parks only involves boarding a bus. Traveling from Disney's Beach Club Resort to the water parks and Disney's Animal Kingdom also only requires a bus ride. One of the wonderful advantages to the Beach Club, however, is that the resort is walking distance to both Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Splitting your stay is a great way to experience two resorts. Visit the Magic Kingdom during the early part of your visit while you are at WL, then check out Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios after you transfer to the Beach Club. Typically packing up and changing resorts requires extra effort on the mom in the family, so I try to avoid moving. Your two resort choices and length of stay, however, make switching hotels seem like a good plan. Disney will transfer your luggage for you. Either choice, one resort or two, will result in a magical vacation.
