we are going to be visiting with our 3 and 6 year old kids and wanted to know if you recommended a renting a stroller at the parks or off site? also we have stayed at pop century before and was wondering if we should try AOA with the kids this time?

    Hello, Kelly,

Would you believe we just stayed at both Disney's Pop Century Resort and Disney's Art of Animation Resort ? While we had a wonderful time at both resorts, I would highly recommend Disney's Art of Animation Resort since you have a 3 and 6 year old. The theming throughout the resort is beyond amazing; you will feel as if you are part of the movies with all the iconic movie scenes from Finding Nemo, Cars, The Lion King and The Little Mermaid.  Our sons commented on how much they would have loved this resort when they were younger. You will also have the choice of staying in a family suite or a standard room.  The standard rooms are themed from The Little Mermaid and are traditional resort rooms. The family suites have a separate bedroom, living room, 2 bathrooms, and a kitchenette and are themed around the other movies.

As for the stroller, I found it incredibly helpful to have one with us at all times rather than just in the theme parks. We then had it for the walk to the bus, which can be a long after a day in the parks, as well as throughout the resort. However, you do have to fold up the strollers on the buses and have someone hold it, which I know my husband found sometimes a bit difficult because they can be cumbersome. You'll want to take a look at the information about Stroller Rentals as Walt Disney World works with only three private companies.

Wishing you a magical trip!  Please let us know if we can help with any further questions. -Kara
