Visiting the World 12/16-12/21/14. Debating on attending MVMCP, however would be sad to miss Mickey's Once upon a Christmastime Parade. I read this shows during MVMCP and ALSO during Christmas week. Will this parade and fireworks be showing on 12/20?

    Hi Jennifer,

Christmas is such a beautiful time at Walt Disney World, and Mickey's Once Upon a Time Christmas Parade is a special part of the festivities.

The official schedule has not yet been released for this year, but in the past, the parade has been performed during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and during Christmas week. Usually, the Christmas week performances begin the day after the last party and continue through New Year's Eve. The final Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party this year is Dec. 19.

I hope that helps you make your decision. I'm sorry I can't be more definitive. You can keep a watch on the Disney website or the Disney Parks Blog for the official schedule, which should be posted soon.

Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you as you make your plans. Enjoy the holidays at Walt Disney World!
