We are visiting WDW 1/23-1/30/10 with a 3 1/2 and 7 year old girl. We will have a 7 day pass. Any recommendation on itinerary as far as how many days at each park. No water parks. Also best sit-down dinner options in each park for that age. Thanks!

    Hi Lisa,

It's always great to hear from a fellow Rhode Islander!

When we travel to Walt Disney World for that length of time we like to spend 2 days in both Epcot and the Magic Kingdom, one day at Hollywood Studios, one day at Animal Kingdom and use our final day in a park of our choice.  Of course, if you have the park hopper option, you can mix and match to best suit your schedule.  For example, we may choose to spend the morning at Animal Kingdom and head over to Epcot in the evening for a great meal and a couple of attractions.

There are several fun dining options for young children.  Guests are able to make reservations 180 days in advance (although I think it was only 90 when you booked your vacation).  Anyway, you may find that many of the most popular restaurants are booked.  Keep trying - cancellations happen frequently.  Here are some of our favorites:

Epcot has several fun dining locations.  If your girls love princesses, Akershus in Norway is a great location.  You can also dine with Chip and Dale at Garden Grill in the Land Pavilion.  Some fun, non-character meals can be had at Biergarten in Germany and Teppan Edo in Japan.

The resorts also have some great restaurants and character dining locations.  You can dine with Mickey for dinner at Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary.  Cinderella also hosts a Happily Ever After dinner at 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian.

Whispering Canyon Cafe and 'Ohana serve up games, antics and great food!!!!

I would start with trying to secure some sit-down dinner options and then build my itinerary from there.  If you need more help, I'm happy to answer any more questions.

Hope this helps get you started.  Have a magical vacation!
