Visiting WDW in 5 weeks for the first time. Would like to celebrate my son's 7th birthday, as well as do something memorable for my daughter (who's 9). Any suggestions/recommendations?

    Hi Stacey,

There is nothing better than celebrating your birthday at Walt Disney World!  I want you to go to Guest Relations at any Theme Park or Downtown Disney and pick up a Happy Birthday button for your son. Your daughter can get a i'm Celebrating button as well.  I love all the gift options at Disney Floral & Gifts.  These gifts for birthdays or any occasion will be delivered to your resort room and are just fantastic!  I would also let your resort know that it is your son's birthday, and sometimes they will send a special card from one of his favorite characters.  I would also make Advanced Dining Reservations at a restaurant you think he would like such as the Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom, the Garden Grill at Epcot, or the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater at Hollywood Studios.    Your daughter can help you plan his special day and perhaps could plan out an itinerary using the park maps at one of the Theme Parks such as the Magic Kingdom.  She could circle the attractions that she would like to visit.  Your daughter would love becoming a Princess at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique while your son would enjoy a Pirate makeover at the Pirates League at the Magic Kingdom.  Most of all, I think just being together at the happiest place on Earth will make your vacation Magical, Stacey!  Please let me know if I can help you further.
