Hi! We'll be visiting WDW in 2 weeks (so excited!) and I've only made 1 d/r for each day of our stay. Are there other places within the parks to eat that don't require reservations? Do they open blocks of seating shortly before the actual date? Thanx!!!

    Hey Chloe!

That's what I do with my family, we make a dinner reservation for each evening before going on our vacation and only make a lunch or breakfast ressie if there is a place or character meal we are desperate to experience.

For lunch we either hit up one of the Quick Service eateries that are all through the Parks...you'll see them marked on the Park Map that you get as you enter the gates...or we'll stop in at a Table Service restaurant to see if they have anything open for Walk-ins.  If the Parks aren't too busy they usually have something open for us,  but when the Parks are busy, expect the Table Service restaurants to also be busy!

I've never heard of Disney opening blocks of seating. Cancellations do happen and a lot of people can get lucky and score a table just by showing up and asking....However, if you do that, remember not to get your hopes up too high! You are going during a busier Holiday time and tables will be full. There's always Quick Service available where you don't have to worry about getting a reservation!

I hope you have a fabulous time in Disney World!
