We will be visiting WDW 12/10/12-12/16/12 we have purchased tickets for mickeys very merry Christmas party for the 11th, would you recommend visiting the mk that day also with a 3 year old, or do you think that would be to much?

I would totally recommend that you enjoy the Magic Kingdom during the day. If you take a mellow pace and enjoy all the parks have to offer you will have a magical day. Go grab a Fast Pass for a visit with Mickey Mouse himself at the Town Square Theater on Main Street U.S.A. I would also take a ride in a classic antique vehicle, my kids adore the old fire truck up to Cinderella Castle. It is always a fun ride. A few of the fun family rides include Dumbo the Flying Elephant, 'it's a small world' and the timeless Jungle Cruise. When it comes to nap time, we always found  quiet area next to some rushing water and my kids slept soundly. I think with the right pace you all will enjoy both a day and night trip to the Happiest Place on Earth. And what a perfect night to watch Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. This  special event held select nights in November and is a awesome holiday celebration filled with spectacular fireworks, a very special holiday parade and live entertainment featuring your favorite Disney Characters.
