We will be visiting WDW Oct 1-Oct 4 this year! 2 adults and one 7yr old girl. We Have a 3 day PH. My question is, between Epcot, HS, and AK, what 2 are best to visit on the same day? We are planning on full day at MK followed by MNSSHP on day 1.

    Hello, Angie!

If you were to ask this question to ten different people, you would most likely end up with a fairly split answer for one BIG reason: It all comes down to personal preference. Personally, I would spend a morning at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and the afternoon/evening at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Here's how I would plan the day:

If you take a look at the operating hours for each theme park, you will find that Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park often closes earlier than the other parks, so you can get the most done if you spend the first part of your day touring this wild theme park. In this scenario, I would not make FastPass+ selections at all for this park, but would make them in advance for the headliners at Disney's Hollywood Studios that are often hard to get on the same day (like Toy Story Midway Mania!).

After a late lunch at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, I'd head over to Disney's Hollywood Studios to enjoy the ride attractions and check out a few of the shows and live performances. Fantasmic! is a great way to end the day -- and is even better with a Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar for dessert.

Why would I pick Epcot for a full day, other than the fact that it's my favorite park? Epcot is home to many different types of attractions, and it is practically impossible to cover everything in just one full day of touring. In fact, the World Showcase can take an hour or more to walk at a brisk pace, even with no stops to take pictures, grab snacks or explore. If your daughter is anything like mine, she will enjoy meeting with her favorite Disney Princess friends in their own native lands, and sampling some new foods along the way. The Future World section of Epcot offers a large and diverse selection of rides that the whole family can enjoy, as well.

I hope you and your family have a magical Walt Disney World vacation, Angie! Wave 'hi' to Mickey for me!
