We r visiting WDW in about a month and I have two little ones (5, 2) who can be quite messy. I saw there r laundry facilities available. Can u tell me more about the facilities? R they do it yourself or is it a service (like dry cleaning)? Where r they?

    Hi Susan,

All the resorts have self service laundry facilities.  They are located in different spots at each resort, but I've always found them to be close to a pool.  I usually ask a castmember for the exact location at check-in.

In the laundry room you will find a dispenser selling laundry soap and softener.  There is also a bill changer and sometimes a television.  It depends on your resort.

I have always found the  process very easy.  The one time the room was crowded I spent an hour chatting with moms from all over the country.  We traded laundry tips and stories about our days at WDW.  It was surprisingly enjoyable.  All the other times it was mostly empty.

    Have a great trip
