Visiting WDW in late March with 10 year old son & 13 year old daughter. We will spend one day at MK. Should we spend our other park day at Epcot or Hollywood Studios? Our kids love thrill rides! (Sadly, they’re not fans of Avatar so we’ll pass on AK)

    Hi Jenel!

There are very few experiences as thrilling for me as taking a vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort!  However, I know that some people like to add a little more thrill to their visits by riding some of the faster-paced attractions.

Although Epcot has its fair share of amazing attractions and plenty of thrills with RELAUNCHED! Mission: SPACE, Soarin', and Test Track, generally it is a slower-paced immersive park.  Disney's Hollywood Studios is the home of thrills like Star Tours - The Adventure Continues, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, among other wonderful attractions.

I think the classic thrills of Disney's Hollywood Studios may fit your family's wishes better.  That being said, I don't think you could go wrong with either choice!  You can also purchase tickets with the Park Hopper Option if you are interested in trying to go to both parks in the same day!  Don't forget to take advantage of FastPass+ to make the most of your time in the parks, and if you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, make sure to check out Extra Magic Hours!

Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!
