I will be visiting WDW in late April for two weeks and it is the first trip to a disney resort with my two boys (3 and 5). I want to give the kids ample time to see and do everything but also to relax. Would a 7day hopper with water parks be enough?

    Hi Laura,

First of all, it is always exciting to help first timers coming to Walt Disney World and April is a great time to visit!  When planning my own trips, I like to schedule in some down time so that we aren't so tired and overwhelmed that we can't enjoy ourselves.

I think a 7 day park hopper with water parks is a great idea.  With that kind of ticket, you get 7 days of park hopping PLUS 7 other entrances to the water parks, Disney Quest, or ESPN Wide World of Sports. With their ages in mind, I would recommend some down time in case they get tired.  Another option is to enjoy a day or two at your resort hanging out by the pool or other activities available at many of the resorts. Some resorts have water crafts to rent, others have movies in the evenings by the pool, to name a few.  My kids love the miniature golf courses, Fantasia Gardens near the Swan and Dolphin Resorts. Downtown Disney also has the new Splitsville bowling alley and the AMC movie theater.  So, as you can see the options are wide open and the fun unlimited.

You always have the option to add on more days if you needed to.  Just stop by the front dest/concierge and a cast member can assist you with that.

Have a magical time and I hope you'll stop by and ask more questions that may come up.
