I am visiting WDW June 14-20. I am going to visit Animal Kingdom the 1st day. I was wondering what the best time of day is to see the animals on the Kilimanjaro Safaris®.

Jessica I can see you are a real animal lover!  Animal Kingdom is one of my favorite parks as well.

Your question is one that is often asked and I wish there was a definite answer for you.  Unfortunately, the animals are truly on their own and we never know when they will "perform" beyond the normal routine of their daily sleeping.  Our family enjoys taking the Safari in the morning before the lines get too long.  There isn't a lot to entertain you while you are in line except for some small tv screens now and then.  In June it will get hotter as the day goes on and if the four legged animals aren't affected by it then I do know many two legged ones are.

Because of the heat I would suggest you try this attraction either early in the morning or later in the day.  You can get a Fast Pass for it as well.  I have tried it at many different times and unfortunately I have yet to find a specific hour where they animals are the most active.  In any case I have never been on the Safari and been disappointed so bring your camera and enjoy!
