Mom and daughter on Expedition Everest

We are visiting WDW in June for the first time. There are maps of the parks on WDW online and small maps in the planning DVD that I received from WDW.com. Any ideas where I can get more detailed park maps for planning purposes? Thanks!

One of the best sources I have found for park maps is in the PassPorter guide to Walt Disney World. This travel guide is available at most larger US bookstores and sells on Amazon.com for about $20.00. There are also great trip-planning charts in this book that make it a worthwhile purchase.

You can also order free color maps from Disney World in advance of your trip. These can be personalized a bit with some of your entertainment preferences. My biggest frustration with this service is that the maps sometimes take a month or so to arrive. I usually like access to information more quickly than that.

    Good luck with your planning!
