Hi, we will be visiting WDW for the first time on march 27th, we will be travelling from Nigeria, my boys are 7,5 and 1. will be staying off the resort. Do i need to buy tickets before our arrival and how do we make a memorable visit? will visit all parks.

    Hi Christabel!

You will have a wonderful time experiencing Walt Disney World Resort for the first time! You can either purchase your tickets online prior to your trip or at the ticket window at Guest Relations outside any of the parks. I would recommend purchasing your tickets online to take advantage of FastPass+. This system will allow you to reserve time windows for popular attractions to minimize wait times. If you purchase your tickets online, they will immediately be linked to your My Disney Experience account, where you can make your FastPass+ selections. You can reserve up to 3 FastPass+ experiences per day starting 60 days prior to your check-in date if you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort or 30 days prior to each park day. FastPass+ availability is limited and often books up quickly for popular attractions, so it is really useful to be able to book them early! If you purchase your tickets once you get to the park, you can still add FastPass+ selections via the My Disney Experience mobile app or at the FastPass+ kiosks located throughout the parks.

To help capture all of the magical moments on your trip, I would recommend investing in Memory Maker. You will be able to get beautiful shots of your family throughout the parks at PhotoPass locations, on rides, and at character meet-and-greets. Be sure to ask the photographer if they have a Magic Shot for a special surprise in your photo! Make a stop at The Chapeau on Main Street, U.S.A. for iconic Mickey Ear hats for your family. They will look amazing in pictures in front of the castle and are great souvenirs. My boys wear theirs all the time! No matter what, your vacation at Walt Disney World will be unforgettable!
