We are visiting WDW for the first time this June. We are staying at the animal kingdom lodge and I was wondering if we are able to utilize the water launch and monorail through out the park even though its not from our resort?

Yes. Yes. Yes, And a little more yes after that.

Any WDW guest can use any of the WDW transportation on property. There is no need to present any ID or room key or otherwise declare yourself in any way. You do not need to pay to use the WDW transportation on property. There is no fee, you don't need a ticket, and you don't need to grease anyone's palm. This includes parking lot trams, monorails, the Transportation Center ferry, resort to park buses (and the reverse), resort to park boats (and the reverse), and resort to resort water launches.

If you take a taxi, you have to pay for that. And while the Magical Express bus is free, if the driver happens to help you with a lot of bags, you should probably offer a tip. But other than that, you can use all the Disney transportation, any time, free of charge.

    Have a great trip!
