Hi, I will be visiting WDW for the first time with my daughter (2.5yrs) and my husband. I am just wondering whether it is good idea to buy princess dress before I depart....I live in Canada and there is Disney store in Canada..is it more expensive in WDW?

    Hi So-Ryeung!

I would definitely encourage you to go ahead and purchase the princess dress (and shoes) before you arrive and just bring it in your luggage. You'll generally pay premium prices for the princess dresses at the Parks, plus you're ensured to get the right dress and size you need (you'll find many Cinderella and perhaps Belle dresses at the Parks, but a little less on the others)...

On two occasions we purchased our daughter's dress beforehand and saved anywhere from 30-50% compared to Park prices...

Search online or in your area. Places like Target and JC Penney generally sell tons of Disney licensed apparel at discounted rates.

Hope you and the family have a magical time on your first visit!
