    Samantha Asked

I am visiting WDW in February and again in April. The 60 days Fastpass window for April opens WHILE I am on the February trip. Is it actually possible to book FPs for a second trip while I still have valid FPs for the first trip that I will still be on?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Samantha.

I, too, will be at Walt Disney World Resort in both February (for the Epcot International Festival of the Arts) and April (leading up to the Star Wars Rival Run Weekend)! Depending on how long each of your visits will be, you may be able to secure FastPass+ reservations for each day of both trips.

As an official Walt Disney World Resort hotel Guest, you can book up to 14 days’ worth of FastPass+ experiences. If your combined visits will be longer than 14 days, you may run into some issues. My family and I ran into this problem last year when we had two extended visits planned within 30 days of each other. At that time, I was told that we would have to wait until we had begun using our FastPass+ entitlements during our first visit before we could book more for our second visit. In other words, after we’d used our first day’s worth of FastPasses, we could book an additional day later during that 30-day period. (And we were staying onsite for both trips.) Since you will have already used some of your FastPass+ entitlements on your February trip before booking for your April vacation, I don’t think you should run into this same problem, though.

If you do hit a snag, I would recommend speaking to your official Walt Disney World Resort hotel Lobby Concierge or reaching out to a Cast Member at the My Disney Experience, MagicBands and FastPass+ helpline to see if they can offer any additional tips or tricks. If your visits will be more than a combined total of 14 days, though, I would recommend staggering your FastPass+ reservations over the course of both trips. On the days when you don’t have FastPass+ reservations, take advantage of Extra Magic Hours and enjoy your Walt Disney World Resort hotel’s amenities or spend some time at Disney Springs. There are also tons of recreation options and tours you can take, too!

I hope you enjoy your back-to-back Walt Disney World Resort vacations, Samantha! Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help you plan. We hope to see you real soon.
