Visiting WDW in fall 2013 with just me and my DS 4yrs. Debating between a moderate and value resort. I know the moderates have character rooms but the value resorts seem to be more themed through the whole resort. Which would be more stimulating for him?

    Hey Holly!

So glad you stopped by to see us today!  Choosing your Walt Disney World Resort can definitely be a bit overwhelming.  There are so many options to pick from.  My daughter was almost four on our last trip and she absolutely loved the theme at Disney's All-Star Music Resort.  She couldn't get enough of seeing her favorite characters in larger-than-life fashion, especially her Toy Story pals.

This year, we're considering Disney's Art of Animation Resort. The themeing at Art of Animation goes above and beyond that of All-Star Movies as the movie themes are carried into the guest rooms.  I went over and checked out the Big Blue Pool, Art of Animation's main feature pool, on a recent trip and I was blown away.  You really feel as if you're in the sea with Nemo and his friends.  Art of Animation offers Family Suites as well as Standard Value Rooms.  The Standard Rooms are located in the Little Mermaid Wing, but guests can explore all of the areas of the resort while staying there.  I highly recommend looking into this for your special mother/son trip next year!

I hope this helps, Holly.  You're going to have a magical time with your son at Walt Disney World.  It's the perfect place to spend quality time together and make memories that will last a lifetime.
