We are visiting WDW the end of June, and my 6 yr old son really wants to know if Walle will be there. Thanks for your help!

    Hi Kristi,

I've spent awhile researching your question because I never want the little ones to be disappointed. I'm sorry to tell you that I can't find any information indicating that Walle will be appearing at any of the theme parks.  That could always change but honestly, with the upcoming release of "Toy Story 3" on June 18th, I think the focus will be more on those Disney Pixar characters from that movie instead of Walle.  You can check the Times Guide when you enter the park to look for character meet and greet locations. You can also check with Guest Relations when you enter a park. They have a character "hotline" they can call to check on when and where characters will be appearing in the parks.

If your son has another Disney character he really likes (hopefully one that may be appearing in the parks), maybe you could try to shift his focus on another one. I would probably prepare him for not being able to meet Walle.

You will still be able to find Walle merchandise and hopefully that will help with the disappointment.  Somehow the word "SouvenEAR" makes everything in my DS5's world all better.  Wish I had better news for you but better to know now and be prepared.

Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
