We are visiting WDW from 2-17 through 2-24! We will eat 2 character meals (CRT and Tusker) & have FP's for Tink, Rapunzel, Tiana, and EP character spot. What are some tips for fun character interactions? We have 2 girls aged 13 and 16. Thanks!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jeff!

Just reading your question made me so happy and excited for your family’s upcoming trip! You are just a few days away from your magical vacation! Are you all packed up and ready to go yet? You are going to have an amazingly magical trip!

Some of my most cherished Walt Disney World Resort Vacation memories have been made while meeting beloved Disney Characters. Now, as a parent, seeing my little ones light up when they get to meet their favorites is just an experience like no other. The best tip for interactions is to know a little tidbit of the Character you’re meeting. For example, ask Tinker Bell if she’s got any pixie dust to spare or if she would like to fly with you. Tiana loves to chat about yummy food. Ask her if she’ll share with you her Jambalaya recipe, or what it was like to kiss a frog. Rapunzel, one of my favorite princesses, is always lovely and so fun! You can ask her about Pascal and Maximus or show her a drawing one of the girls made. There is a wealth of knowledge online if do a quick search. You won't regret having some fun interaction prompts up your sleeve to make those moments even more magical!

I hope you and your princesses have an amazing time meeting all your favorite Disney Characters. Don’t forget to take tons of pictures! Remember, if you purchase Memory Maker before you arrive, you can save! You won't want to miss out on all the fantastic pictures Disney’s PhotoPass photographers will capture of your vacation!

Come back and see us again soon! TTFN- Ta ta for now!
