We are visiting WDW for 11 days in Sept with a 1yr & a 4yr old boy. As we have a lot of time, what character meals & other rest do you highly recommend? We have heard conflicting info on too many char meals vs. doing as many as possible. Help pl

Well my family falls into the 'do as many as possible' category!  My mom has a sign hanging in her kitchen that reads, "Too much of a good thing is wonderful!" so maybe it's just in our genes.  :)

Character meals are so much fun!  We always schedule several when we visit - usually one every day!  We've even been known to have more than one in a day, but that can be a bit overwhelming.  For reference, we are heading to Disney in August for a 12 day trip and we have 7 character meals reserved.  On several days we're not doing character meals, it's because we're heading to dinner shows instead.  :)

When you choose your meals, be sure to know what characters will be at each locations and plan accordingly.  For example, Mickey can be found at several places, but Stitch is only at the 'Ohana Best Friends Breakfast.

A few of our favorite character meals:

    • Chef Mickey's
    • 1900 Park Fare (breakfast and dinner have different characters, and both are excellent)
    • Princess Storybook Breakfast at Akershus
    • Play & Dine at Hollywood & Vine

    Have a great vacation!
