Hello. I will be visiting WDW 9/12/09 - 9/20 and my daughter will be 17 months. I have a full size stroller and an umbrella. Which one should I bring. The full size fully reclines and she can sleep/rest more comfortably in that one.

Hi Chacora!  This is always a difficult decision for moms and dads coming with little ones.  It is a personal decision based on your daughters habits and needs but I can relate some thoughts that might help you decide.

The larger the stroller the more difficult it is to travel with on the airplanes and also on the Disney buses and boats.  It is a law that all strollers must be folded completely on the buses and it often causes anxiety with parents who were not aware of this rule and who had stored packages and bundles under the seats.  I have seen parents who stressed out completely trying to handle and fold a large stroller, keeping hold of their children, and managing bags and packages.  Umbrella strollers are certainly easier in this case.

Strollers are not allowed in restaraunt so even if your child has fallen asleep you would need to remove her for table service meals.

You might also consider just heading back to the resort for an afternoon nap versus trying to keep her asleep in a stroller.

One of the best items we ever found for grandchildren was the new car seat/stroller combination.  It meant taking only one thing for two purposes and was so beneficial on trips.
