Hi there! We will be visiting WDW in celebration of my 40th birthday and saw that MNSSHP will be taking place the evening we arrive. Rather than purchase a ticket to the park the day we arrive, could we just purchase the MNSSHP ticket instead?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Amrah! My family and I are so excited to be attending Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party this fall too! In fact, I just purchased our tickets for the spook-tacular party yesterday!

We are doing exactly what you're asking. Since we won't be arriving until around noon that first day, we figured we'd save our full park days for later in the week, and simply purchase Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party tickets so we can attend that the first night we arrive. They are less expensive than a full park ticket since admission to the party starts later in the day, but that's perfect for our arrival day! It allows us time to fly in, take the Magical Express to our resort and get settled, enjoy a relaxing start to our vacation at the resort, and then get dressed to head to the party at Magic Kingdom! I highly recommend you purchase these tickets because you'll get to experience so much more Halloween fun during the party than during the day at Magic Kingdom!

My kids are really looking forward to the Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular and of course the Boo To You Halloween Parade, which you can only see during the party! My son is a huge Haunted Mansion fan, so this is his favorite parade at any of the Disney Parks! Not to mention, who doesn't want to Trick-or-Treat at Magic Kingdom in costume? I love that my kids get to have this magical experience!

So, have fun planning your spooky trip, Amrah! Happy birthday!
