I am visiting Walt Disney World later this month, and am traveling with my 2-year old daughter. Do I need to show proof of her age for her to enter the parks for free? If so, what should I bring to show proof?

    Hi Julia!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so excited to hEAR you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in just a few weeks!

Since your daughter is under the age of 3, she will not need a theme park ticket as she is considered a Guest of Mickey Mouse. You will not be required to show proof of age for your 2-year-old daughter. The theme parks work on an honor system when it comes to the ages of young Guests. I've also taken all four of my kiddos at least twice before their 3rd birthday and have never been asked to show proof of age or encountered any issues when entering the parks. However, if it would ease your mind, you could always bring a copy of your daughter's birth certificate to be on the safe side.

Because your daughter will not require theme park admission, you will not be able to book FastPass+ selections for her. If you will be utilizing FastPass+ service, let the Cast Member know at the entrance of the attraction that your little one is under the age of 3. During your FastPass+ window, your daughter will be able to enter the FastPass+ entrance with you as long as she meets the minimum height requirement for that particular attraction. You'll be amazed at just how many attractions and entertainment options your little princess will be able to experience during your visit.

I hope this is helpful! Let us know if you have any additional questions in the days leading up to your trip. We would love to assist you further as you continue to plan a magical vacation, Julia!

    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
