We are visiting for the 1st time in 2 weeks with a 4 year old princess admirer. I heard the princess character meal at Ariel's grotto is no longer available. What do you recommend instead? Will there be other princesses at other character meals?

    Greetings, Melanie!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I can't wait for your little princess to visit the Happiest Place on Earth. While the Princess Character Dining experience and Ariel's Grotto Restaurant are no longer available, there are still many Princess-themed experiences at the Disneyland Resort.

First, I recommend visiting Fantasy Faire in Disneyland Park. Here you can meet Disney Princesses in the Royal Hall and even see some of your favorite fairy tales come to life at the Royal Theatre. While you are in Disneyland Park, your child can also become transformed into royalty at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. You can make an appointment for a variety of Princess-themed services. For little boys there are even wonderful packages. My three year old son just loved being transformed into a Knight for the day. You can make an appointment with a Fairy Godmother-in-training by calling the Style Line at (714) 781-7895.

If your little one is a fan of all things Frozen, I recommend seeing Frozen - Live at the Hyperion at Disney California Adventure Park and meeting the famous sisters at Anna & Elsa's Royal Welcome. Don't forget to also check the Disneyland app for other Character appearances throughout both parks.

I hope this helps, and I know you will have a magical visit!
