We will be visiting and staying at POFQ April of 2016, celebrating my daughter's 5th birthday. Planning breakfast at the castle that morning and the Pirates and Pals cruise that night. Any tips you ladies have to make the day even more special?

    Hello, Stephanie!

Walt Disney World is a wonderful place to celebrate a birthday, and I'm so happy to see that your little princess already has some amazing surprises in store for her big birthday celebration! I think you've already covered two of my favorite ways to celebrate at Walt Disney World by selecting a character dining meal and unique experience. Here are a few more suggestions for celebrating a birthday at Walt Disney World:
    • Pick up a complimentary 'Happy Birthday!' button from Guest Services at any of the theme parks.
    • Pre-order a customized birthday cake to be delivered during your table-service meal, by calling 407) 827-2253 at least 72 hours in advance.
    • Let your daughter choose her favorite rides and attractions to celebrate her special day, and make FastPass+ reservations in advance of your visit.
    • Make an appointment for a princess makeover at Disney's Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. This is one of my daughter's favorite experiences at the Walt Disney World Resort, and for good reason. The Fairy Godmothers-in-Training do an excellent job of weaving in magic and storytelling during these royal makeovers.
    • If you are staying at one of the fabulous Disney Resort hotels, you can personalize a special gift to be delivered right to your hotel room from Disney Floral & Gifts.
I hope that your daughter has a magical birthday celebration at Walt Disney World, Stephanie! If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to stop back by the Moms Panel. Happy planning!
