We are visiting in Sept with our 6 yr old daughter and 18 month old twins. Since the twins will not be on the DDP I'm guessing we just order off the menu for them and pay. Do we need cash, credit card, charge back to the room... How does it work? Thanks

    Hi Tracy,

I have twins and a slightly older child as well. We made many trips to Walt Disney World when they were about the ages of your children and had a FABULOUS time.

Your twins are welcome to share food from your family members' plates at no charge. If you'd like to order supplemental food for them, yes you are welcome to do so. You can order them anything you'd like off the regular restaurant menu. You can pay for this food in whatever way is most convenient for you. The restaurants will accept cash, major credit cards, Disney Gift Cards, room charges, travelers checks, etc. Just choose the method that works best for you.

When you're on the DDP, just tell your server at the beginning of the meal. She will deduct the appropriate credits from your account. At the end of the meal, she will present you with a bill to verify the DDP deductions and pay for any incidental charges like adult beverages or extra food.  Just pay the bill like you would at any restaurant.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
